With over 40 years of culinary experience, Chef Michael DeGeorgio has been shaping kitchens and palates since the 1980s. By the age of 22, he rose to become the head chef at the legendary Il Cortile on Mulberry Street in Manhattan’s Little Italy, setting the stage for a lifelong career rooted in excellence. Over the years, he has brought his expertise to acclaimed establishments such as Russo’s On The Bay and Vetro, earning a reputation for both his artistry and hospitality. While his passion lies in authentic Italian cuisine, Chef Michael’s skills and creativity extend far beyond- allowing him to craft extraordinary dishes of any style, always with the soul of New York Woven in.

Today, that same passion and dedication inspire Best Night Out, where Chef Michael brings decades of expertise to private events, catering, and interactive cooking class dinners. Drawing on the traditions of classic New York Italian cuisine-elevated with modern creativity-he transforms gatherings into memorable dining experiences. Whether hosting an intimate dinner party, designing a custom menu, or guiding guests through a hands-on cooking adventure, Chef Michael continues to share the flavors, warmth, and joy that have defined his career from the very beginning.
